GLOBAL INCLUSION DIALOGUES
AS A HEARTBEAT

We hear that this world is small—and growing smaller, due to the phenomena of climate change, mass migration, and the closing digital divide. But when injustices occur within and across borders, what criteria are necessary to create a global community that nourishes, stimulates, and inspires? And once such a community exists, what are its goals? What are its challenges and opportunities? What are its plans for sustainability, and its unforeseen risks?

OUR DIALOGUES

Each annual meeting, or dialogue, takes place in the secluded setting of a (if possible: previously unvisited) country. Participants consider issues of global importance, and how they affect the each dialogue's host country. Dialogues last 2-4 days, and attract 20 to (max) 30 participants—mostly from the preexisting GCD community, and always with a few newcomers to the Dialogues.

at Tapalehui, a retreat center located in the Nahuatl Indigenous town of Xoxocotla, approximately 20 minutes from Cuernavaca.

Local host: Adriana Medina-López-Portillo

GID host: Henning Zorn

This year, there will not be a predefined central theme.

The topics will be co-created on site through Open Space and Dialogue processes, emerging from the questions and concerns participants bring with them.

OUR COMMUNITY

What started initially as Global Diversity Dialogue then Global Community Dialogue, now the Global Inclusion Dialogue is now a community of distinct individuals from around the world, who work both within organizations and independently, as consultants, coaches, educators, students, writers, trainers, and much more. But above all, like everyone in the world, we are people with valid experiences, memories, ideas, and emotions. We are always seeking to become more diverse, open, curious, and international.
